Bio:
Belfast '76 style punk rock band with ties to many other bands. Formed in 1977,
played their first gig February 1978, and split due to musical differences in
April 1978 following a trip to London hawking their demo tape to various labels.
Joe Zero and Aza joined the rhythm section of Victim, who'd also
just split up, to form Emergency who ultimately
continued as Victim without Aza. Aza did a fanzine called Nine to Five
(only 2 issues published, in 1978) and
later played in f-Stop and Colenso Parade.
Dee Wilson turned up in The Idiots
A revamped Androids lineup emerged in 1979 with Steve Raines (guitar),
Gerry Mitchell (guitar), Robin Holmes (ex Ask Mother, bass)
and Billy Britt (drums).
Keith McVeigh of Sample And Hold
played in an early Androids lineup with Zero, Aza and one Seamus Cassidy.
There was related project called Zone Ends
in 1977 with Zero, Aza and McVeigh who are pictured in Nine To Five #5.
