Bio:
Seven piece pubrock band with brass section, Powerpop at a stretch when popping
up on ebay of course. Tweed are listed here only because of the 1977-78 singles
on Ruby, home of the elusive
East Coast Angels single. Henrik Poulsen mentions Tweed in the entry for
the E.C.Angels in his book "77: The Year of Punk and New Wave" but says
he doesn't consider them worthy of inclusion. Draw your own conclusions.
Formed by Brendan and Kenny Ryder in 1972, their musical style varied over
the years: glam in the early 70s, pubrock in the late 70s and pop in the
80s. Kenny Ryder also fronted his own Kenny Ryder Superband.
There are undoubtedly singles missing from the discography below.
