Bio:
Harmony pop group from Ballyfermot in Dublin who released two singles on Pye
in 1968-69. All four tracks are
cover versions. The band was very popular in urban areas. They suffered a major
setback when singer Maurice Walsh (also the drummer) left for Purple Pussycat
and the showband scene (Joe Dolan & The Drifters) in 1968 after the success of
their debut single, but they
bounced back with new vocalist Pat Morris who appears on the second single
and on the contribution to the "Paddy Is Dead And The Kids Know It" compilation. In 1970 the band
emigrated to Canada and split shortly afterwards. They later acknowledged the lack
of original material stifled the band.
Jimmy Conway now lives in Las Vegas where he plays in
Brendan Bowyer's band.

The A-side is credited to Loudermilk. You can just about make out "A Target Recording" at the bottom
of the blue label (second last line, above ACUFF-ROSE), suggesting an Irish Target label pressing exists.
