Bio:

Dublin bluesy rock band who famously included a pre- Thin Lizzy Brian Downey. Downey had previously been in the Dublin beat band The Black Eagles with Phil Lynott who'd since joined Skid Row.

Sugar Shack's only single offers covers of Tim Hardin and Cream and is now a major collectable. Their live set also included covers of the Hollies ("I Can't Let Go") and the Yardbirds ("Shape Of Things"). The singles success led to their downfall as the demands of commercial success made it more difficult to play the blues material they preferred.

Brian Downey later joined Phil Lynott's Orphanage who became Thin Lizzy. Brian Twomey previously with The Difference and later in Full Circle.
