Eamonn Gibney

From: Dublin?

Active: 60s/80s

Bio:

Singer Eamonn Gibney's career includes Purple Pussycat (1968-69), The Arrows (circa 1969), Alice (1970-71) who became Brogue (1971-72), Skid Row (1973-75), Gibney & Donovan Band (on and off in the late 70s) and The Allies (late 1980s). He also released solo material.

Both singles are similar. "Pack Up Your Bags" is a Philly soul style number while "Let Us Break Bread Together", which Gibney recorded with Alyce back in 1970, is more gospel.

The Allies were Eamon Gibney, Gerry O'Donovan & Tommy Mangan. They released several pop/rock singles and one LP on the Irish branch of K-Tel Records.
