Bio:

Icon Trial were originally a six piece featuring violin and trumpet. They appeared on The Late Late Show on RTE Television in October 1987 performing "Love Comes Around" (was this released?). Another finished recording from this period is "Blemish On The Moon". By the time of their 1989 single they'd slimmed down to a quartet with John Murphy on bass.
