Jukebox

From: ?

Active: early 80s

Style: Pop / Rockabilly

Lineup:

Bio:

I have no lineup information for this group but there were links to the Richie Laurence Band, Ray Lynam's Hillbillies and (later) Daniel O'Donnell's backing band. While this might suggest their background is in country & Irish perdition, the band dabbled in 50's Rock & Roll revivalism (with inevitable glam overtones) and Rockabilly, producing some catchy singles. "Cause I'm On The Dole-Don't Mean Can't Rock'n'Roll" is Rock & Roll, while "True Love Ways" has a fine rockabilly swing. "Blue Days, Black Nights" was recorded by Buddy Holly. These singles are always snapped up when they appear on ebay.
