Beat/soul group managed by Ted Carroll. Paul Brady was a member for six months approx (May-December 1966), following stints with The Inmates / The Kult and Rootzgroop. He had to leave when his family discovered he wasn't attending college, though he'd joined The Johnstons within 6 months of leaving. Rockhouse folded soon after.

Rodney Williams was also ex Rootzgroop. Brendan Bonass (also ex Inmates / Kult) was next in the The Uptown Band, also managed by Ted Carroll. Drummer Fran Byrne was in The Chosen Few (1966) and replaced Ray McDonald in The Creatures (1966-67).

A new Rockhouse played the clubs in Dublin in 1973 with a lineup including Robbie Brennan.
