Some Kind of Wonderful in 1982.
Bio:
A short-lived band led by Pete Deane and Philip Mullen who drew on funk and reggae
rhythms, adding a touch of much needed exotica to the late 1970s gig circuit in Ireland,
though they suffered from Too Many People On Stage syndrome. Nowadays they'd probably be
described as being influenced by "world music".
Pete Deane was ex Zebra. Other members included Ray
Shiels (sax), Joe Davis (trumpet) and drummer Paul Bibby (ex New Versions).
Some members also involved in The Soulmates.
There are reputedly many unreleased recordings.
