Bio:

Jimmi Skinner or Jimmy Skinner were a rock band formed in Limerick in 1970. Lead vocalist Mick Frazer had previously been with one of Limerick's top beat groups the Blue Beats. Teddy McCoy was ex Ohio Showband with the remaining members had all been playing in a group called Silver Spoon about whom I know nothing. This included ace guitarist Johnny Fean, who'd previously been in Sweet Street and was also in Jeremiah Henry.

Jimmy Skinner made their live debut as the Tabu club (previously The Big C) in Limerick on St.Patrick's night 1970 (March 17), but their biggest gig was supporting Skid Row at the City Theatre in Limerick on April 2nd. Also on the bill were Honey Sweet and Thin Lizzy, doing one of their earliest gigs.

Mike Frazer left in June 1970 and the band presumably split shortly thereafter.
