SRS Records grew out of Slane Recording Studios in Navan. The label was launched
circa 1980 by John Donohoe AKA John Dee. Donohoe was a musician and DJ who also
had a record shop in Navan. He acted as engineer, producer and session musician
on hundreds of recordings at SRS over a 15 year period. Many releases bear
the production credit John Dee AKA John Donohoe. John Donohoe now runs
John Dee Studios in Mullingar.
Both Ezy Meat LPs were recorded at SRS.
