Bootleg cassette of unknown origin, the first of two volumes. This compilation includes some UK and USA bands, so the title is misleading. The Fontaines, The Temps, The Commotion and Private Number tracks come from the Hip City Boogaloo Hotwire sampler LP [1984]; The Zen Alligators tracks come from various singles released between 1981-83; the Side One track also comes from one of those Zen Alligators singles; The Resistors track comes from the sought after For Jeanie EP [1980]; and finally the Dirty Tricks tracks are from their self-released debut single from 1988.
