Mick Cox replaced Billy Hollywood in The Alleykatz in 1964 and remained with the band until he returned to London in 1967. He then joined Eire Apparent. The Alleykatz toured with Them. Mike Brown was later in Lyttle People and Chaser.

A demo of The Alleykatz has surfaced featuring four songs recorded at Lloyds Studio in Belfast. The two tracks on the A-side are Chicago Callin' and I'm a Man. The B-side tracks are Wee Wee Baby and Hey Mama.
