Lineup:

Bio:

Formed by Jon Ledingham from Drogheda while a student at Trinity College, Dublin. He is now better known as Jonathan Kelly, who recorded several albums for RCA during the 1970s. The Boomerang's were Jon's first recorded band. Their lone single is superior mid-60s pop. The A-side is a protest song. Both sides appear on the essential Ireland's Beat Groups 1964-69 compilation CD.

During 1967-68 Jon went on to release several solo singles on Pye and had several of his songs covered by other artists in Ireland. In 1970 he formed Humpy Bong before finally becoming Jonathan Kelly.

Unrelated to the band who released two singles on Fontana [UK] in 1964-65.
