F.F.F.

From: Dublin

Active: 1982

Style: Experimental Rock

Lineup:

Bio:

F.F.F. was a short-lived side project of members of Jump Iceland and Radio DJ Nikki Moss, who worked for Capitol Radio, Big D and ARD.

Derek Dunne (drums), Fintan Grimes (bass) and Mick Skelly (vocals, guitar, processed shortwave) of Jump Iceland and Nikki Moss (vocals, synthesizer) performed just twice as F.F.F. The first performance was a Saturday afternoon gig in Base X Records (The Basement Exchange Record Shop) on Bachelor's Walk in Dublin in June 1982 with Dermot Brady (bass/spoken word). The gig was recorded by the band but the tape is lost. The second and final gig was at the Judge & Jury pub in Dublin, opening for Jump Iceland with a neurotic version of The Normal's "Warm Leatherette".

Besides being a DJ, Nikki Moss had another band called The Extra S (active ca 1983) which included Aisling Meath (of Paranoid Visions) on vocals.
